LoopBreak Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information LoopBreak uses, what it does not collect, and how the app handles anonymous settings and usage data.
Last updated: May 1, 2026
1. Overview
LoopBreak is a sleep-focused app blocking tool. It helps users block selected apps during scheduled lock periods and allows limited unlocks through QR codes or NFC tags.
LoopBreak is designed to avoid collecting personal content. The app does not read your messages, passwords, typed text, financial information, photos, contacts, emails, or private screen content.
2. Information LoopBreak may use
LoopBreak may create and store an anonymous install ID. This ID helps the app keep track of settings, unlock limits, and anonymous usage activity for that specific installation.
LoopBreak may store app settings locally on your device, including selected blocked apps, schedule settings, unlock counters, NFC tag assignments, and recovery information.
3. Anonymous usage statistics
LoopBreak may record anonymous usage events related to app blocking and unlock activity. These may include information such as unlock type, unlock tier, unlock duration, failed unlock attempts, and whether an unlock happened during an active schedule.
These statistics are used to improve LoopBreak and understand how the app is performing. They are not used to identify the content you view inside other apps.
4. Cloud settings
LoopBreak may connect to Flash Finds servers to download current unlock settings, such as available unlock tiers and unlock limits.
If the cloud service is temporarily unreachable, LoopBreak may continue using the last saved settings on the device and try again later.
5. Accessibility Service
LoopBreak uses Android Accessibility Service to detect when selected blocked apps are opened during an active lock schedule. When a blocked app is detected, LoopBreak moves the user away from that app.
LoopBreak does not use Accessibility Service to read messages, passwords, typed text, financial information, or personal screen content.
For more details, read the LoopBreak Accessibility explanation.
6. Camera and QR scanning
LoopBreak may use the device camera to scan QR codes for unlock access. Camera access is used only for QR scanning inside the app.
LoopBreak does not use the camera to record video, take photos, or identify people.
7. NFC tags
LoopBreak may read the ID of NFC tags that you choose to set up for unlock access. The app uses the tag ID to recognize which unlock tier should be applied.
LoopBreak does not need to permanently write personal data to NFC tags.
8. Information LoopBreak does not collect
LoopBreak does not collect or read:
- Messages or chat content
- Passwords or typed text
- Banking or financial information
- Photos or videos from your device
- Contacts
- Emails
- Personal screen content from other apps
- Precise GPS location
9. Data sharing
LoopBreak does not sell user data. LoopBreak does not use advertising tracking.
Anonymous app data may be processed using services operated by Flash Finds or its hosting providers for app functionality, configuration, diagnostics, and improvement.
10. Children
LoopBreak is not designed for children under 13. The app is intended for users who want to manage their own app usage and sleep-time phone habits.
11. Removing app data
You can remove locally stored LoopBreak data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data from Android settings. LoopBreak may also collect limited anonymous usage and unlock statistics linked to your app install ID. If you want to request deletion of data associated with your LoopBreak install ID, contact support and include your install ID from the app. Support: support@flashfinds.ca
